Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 11pm - 9am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
‑ Assist in the training of clients in necessary areas
‑ Perform necessary tasks for individual
‑ Carry out any training programs and behavior management techniques as may be established
‑ Performs typing, cleaning or any other tasks assigned by the Program/Unit Manager as required
‑ Assure each individual attends day programming promptly and on a regular basis
‑ Ensure security and confidentiality of all assigned Alternatives, Inc. records
‑ Follow all policies and procedures relative to this position
- Cooperate with Alternatives, Inc. and the N.J. Department of Human Services in all inspections or investigations
‑ Basic record keeping to include proper shift documentation as directed by the Program/Unit Manager
‑ Act as a role model for each resident in a variety of situations that might exist for each individual
‑ Participate in staff meetings as directed by the Program/Unit Manager
‑ Ensures Alternatives, Inc.'s person‑centered philosophy.
‑ Participates as a team member in planning, implementing and evaluating services provided by the Program
‑ Handles a crisis situation
- Ensure operational effectiveness in emergency situations by providing services at Alternatives, Inc.?s program sites as assigned
- Strong interpersonal skills required
