Throughout the year, Alternatives conducts a number of fundraisers that provide individuals, corporations, foundations and associations with an opportunity to give. The annual campaign consists of letters of appeal; grants; cause related marketing and special events.

In addition to financial contributions, donations of services or new and used goods are very much welcomed and appreciated. All through the year Alternatives receives offers for many wonderful and critically needed contributions. These have included furniture, building supplies, landscaping services, painting and recreation planning.

Each contribution that Alternatives receives allows the agency to advance its mission to provide comprehensive support services to people with special needs.

Events

Dignity Gala - Friends, neighbors and corporate figures gather each spring to celebrate the agency’s Dignity Gala.

The agency recognizes individuals or businesses for their achievement and commitment to the community along with their service to the agency. This semi-formal evening includes a tantalizing selection of foods and cocktails as well as entertainment that is sure to please. Opportunities are available for reservations, ad journal advertising and sponsorship.

Basket Bingo - There’s plenty of excitement when Alternatives hosts this fun and inviting family event each May. The community can support this effort through sponsorship, donating items or attending.
