Memorials and Tributes
While all donations made to Alternatives, Inc. are greatly appreciated, contributions made in memory of someone who has passed, or in tribute to someone on a special occasion, are particularly meaningful. Gifts of this type may be made by mail, phone, or through the online giving feature.

Employer Matching Gifts
Did you know many employers support monthly charitable giving through payroll deductions and corporate matching gifts? You may be able to double or triple your gift if your employer has a matching gift program. For more information about workplace giving programs at your company, please contact your Human Resources Department.
Planned Giving
For many people, Alternatives is a place where they can feel empowered through their independence today and into the future. Caring individuals who support agency efforts can perpetuate their concern for individuals with special needs by remembering Alternatives, Inc. in their will or other planned giving mechanism. Leaving a planned gift is a way of receiving tax benefits while ensuring the future of a concern close to your heart.
Planned gifts, including bequests, annuities, trusts, and gifts of stock or life insurance ensure the continuation of Alternatives’ work in the future. To decide if planned giving is an option to pursue, donors should consult with a qualified financial planner, accountant, or attorney.

Volunteer
Alternatives is seeking motivated, organized, self-starters to support the agency at short-term projects at our program locations. This is usually suited to volunteer groups from businesses, churches, schools, or other groups, but there may also be opportunities for one or two people who would like to help.
We are also actively seeking volunteers for the agency’s fundraising events. Volunteers may support the event for a few hours or participate as a member of the event planning committee.
