Director of Behavioral Supports
Alternatives is pleased to announce the promotion of Sawyer Tatum to the position of Director of Behavioral Supports. Sawyer began working for the agency in 2014, as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). She quickly demonstrated her skills in behavioral supports, and she began working for the Clinical Services Department. Sawyer later went on to obtain credentialing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In her new role, Sawyer will be supervising a team that includes BCBAs, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and more! As Sawyer put it best, her team will operate with a “boots on the ground” approach, where they will create individualized programs and offer staff training to improve the lives of the Alternatives’ clients.
