Elias’s Story

Elias participated in a Behavior Support Plan from March 2022 through February 2026. During the early stages of services at Alternatives, he experienced challenges with self-regulation and effectively communicating his needs and emotions.

Through consistent support, individualized interventions, and well-trained staff, Elias developed strong coping strategies and meaningful communication skills. He learned to express his needs appropriately and now independently applies these skills when navigating changes in routine, unexpected disruptions, or non-preferred tasks.

On February 10, Elias successfully met all criteria to graduate from his Behavior Support Plan, demonstrating significant progress in skill development, communication, and independence. His achievement reflects his hard work, dedication, and the collaborative support of his team.

To celebrate this milestone, Elias was awarded a diploma and honored with a pizza party in recognition of his accomplishments. He has built a strong foundation and is well-prepared to continue his progress moving forward. Congratulations, Elias!
