Double Your Donation
Did you know many employers support monthly charitable giving through payroll deductions and corporate matching gifts? You may be able to double or triple your gift if your employer has a matching gift program. For more information about Employer Matching Gifts and workplace giving programs, please contact your employer’s Human Resources Department.
Give a Commemorative Gift
While all donations made to Alternatives, Inc. are greatly appreciated, contributions made in memory of someone who has passed, or in tribute to someone on a special occasion, are particularly meaningful. Gifts of this type may be made by mail, phone or through the online giving feature.
Leave a Legacy for the Future
For many people, Alternatives is a place where they can feel empowered through their independence today and into the future. Caring individuals who support agency efforts can perpetuate their concern for our clients by remembering Alternatives, Inc. in their will or another planned giving mechanism. Leaving a planned gift is a way of ensuring the future of a concern close to your heart while receiving tax benefits.
Planned gifts – including bequests, annuities, trusts, and gifts of stock or life insurance – ensure the continuation of Alternatives’ work into the future. To decide if planned giving is an option to pursue, donors should consult with a qualified financial planner, accountant, or attorney.
Alternatives is a registered 501(c)3 charity. All donations are tax deductible.
Alternatives is seeking motivated and organized self-starters, with energy to spare and hearts of gold! Sound like you?
Individual and group volunteers are needed throughout the year for short-term projects at our program locations, projects at your own location, or to support fundraising events.
We are also interested in speaking with members of the community who would like to share their expertise by serving as volunteers on agency committees and the Board of Trustees.
Alternatives, Inc. has a number of fundraising events throughout the year for those who choose to balance their generosity while having fun. In addition to attending events, there are opportunities to take on a larger role by becoming a sponsor, helping with the planning prior to an event, or by offering help the day of an event.
